10 Students at IISS Took Uji Kompetensi Daerah (UKD)
Public and Private Elementary Schools in Malang City took Uji Kompetensi Daerah (UKD). UKD is an activity carried out by the Department of Education and Culture of Malang City with the aim of getting a passing grade that will be used as a condition for participating in PPDB for SMP Negeri Malang City. 10 students at IISS Elementary School Malang took Uji Kompetensi Daerah (UKD). The implementation of UKD starts on Monday, April 18, 2022 until Friday, April 22, 2022.
Principal of IISS Elementary School, Ms. Rika Dwi Damajanti, S.P. said that everything related to implementation should be properly conditioned. “Hopefully all 6th graders can work on the questions with satisfactory results,” she said .
There are 9 subjects tested in Uji Kompetensi Daerah (UKD), including Religious and Character Education, Indonesian Language, PPKN, Sciences, Social Studies, Physical Education, Javanese Language, Arts and Crafts, and Mathematics.
Each exam subject requires 90 Minutes of processing time for all subjects except Mathematics. For Mathematics, it takes 120 minutes. This is because in working on problems related to numbers it takes quite a long time.
On the third day, UKD went smoothly. Before carrying out Uji Kompetensi Daerah (UKD), previous students had taken a trial first. The aim is to train and prepare students for the real UKD. UKD was previously known as Ujian Sekolah, but in 2022 its name was changed to Uji Kompetensi Daerah (UKD).
Previously, the 6th grade teacher had also provided a grid to students, the grid was given so that students at least had guidelines and exercises for learning questions that would come out during Uji Kompetensi Daerah (UKD).
Uji Kompetensi Daerah (UKD) is carried out in one session in one day. One session starts at 07.00 WIB until 10.15 WIB. Especially for Friday, UKD starts at 07.00 until 09.00 WIB. In one room there is one examiner from outside the school and one operator from inside the school.
Before starting the exam, students first gather in class and pray together. The teacher is in charge of checking the computer that will be used for the exam and preparing the application in advance, so that when students enter they are ready to work on the questions.
Students line up in front of the room for the exam. The homeroom teacher checks the completeness of the exam, one of which is the participant card which must always be carried when entering the exam room. Students enter the exam room one by one neatly without jostling with other friends and not causing noise.
During the exam, students continue to comply with applicable health protocols. Wear a mask and keep your distance while at school. When working on exam questions, students work in a conducive and orderly manner following the rules that apply in the exam room. Good luck for the students!
