7th Graduation and Annual Performance SD IISS Malang 2022

With the end of the 2021-2022 academic year, IISS Elementary School Malang held the 7th Graduation Ceremony for grade 6 and an annual performance for all students from grade 1 to grade 6. Graduation and Annual held on June 18, 2022 was very impressive. Why? Because it can take place offline again after the COVID-19 pandemic for 2 years. In addition, this activity was carried out in the IISS Hall for the first time since the IISS Elementary School building was renovated.

The graduation and annual activity was attended by the CEO of IISS Elementary School, supervisors of Cluster 1 Lowokwaru Subdistrict, all school principals of Cluster 1 Lowokwaru Subdistrict, school committee representatives, parents of students and of course all students, teachers and staffs of IISS Elementary School.

This activity is divided into 2 parts, namely graduation ceremony and annual performance. The graduation ceremony began with a Tor-Tor opening dance procession performed by 4th grade students and 6th grade student procession behind the dancers. Next, all the audience sang the national anthem of Indonesia “Indonesia Raya”.

As the opening remarks given by Mr. Drs. Didik Siswanto, M.Pd., followed by remarks by the CEO of SD IISS Mr. Endro Pradono ST, and representative of the school committee Mrs. Erika Triyas Febriyanti.

The most awaited event was the graduation procession for grade 6 students, where the principal and homeroom teacher for grade 6 came on stage. One by one the 6th graders were called and went up to the stage to be given a graduation certificate and moved the rope of the toga hat in the opposite direction. After that the remarks by the principal Ms. Rika Dwi Damajanti, S.P. followed by singing performances by all 6th grade students.

Then, impressions and messages from representatives of grade 6 delivered by Ananda Daffa and Ananda Naila, impressions and messages from representatives of parents of grade 6 delivered by Papa Tino and Mama Iam.

The graduation activity was then closed with a singing performance by Ananda Bella, a singing performance “Auld Lang Syne” by all students from grade 1 to grade 5 and a solo drummer by Ananda Adly.

It was time for the annual performance, which was attended by all students, teachers, employees and even the principal of the school to join in on this performance. With the theme “Color of the World”. This annual performance consists of drama performances accompanied by dance and singing, where at the end of each scene the appearance of students from each class is presented. And what you need to know is that the writer of this drama scenario is the principal of the IISS Elementary School himself. Ms. Rika, with her hobby, loves to make extraordinary stories .

The drama with the theme “Color of The World” tells the story of an Amethyst Queen who wants to control several lands with her dark powers and is assisted by Bad Knights as accomplices. One day the Bad Knight tricked the Good Knight who ended up being killed. With the help of Mother of Earth, Fairy and Fire Keeper and the cooperation of all citizens from different lands, the dark power of Queen Amethyst can be destroyed so that each land can still shine with its own uniqueness. They unite to keep the world colorful and cheerful. It ended with the appearance of all the players singing the song “What a Wonderful World”, the audience was very happy and applauded.

The whole series of events has been completed, IISS Elementary School Malang provided snacks and souvenirs to all those present. With extraordinary decorations, stage arrangements and sound system, the graduation and annual performance can run smoothly. Hopefully we can meet again next year with a different theme and concept.
